Multiple-cylinder submarine
Jolly Roger

During WWII  the Dutch B.V. Nederlandsche Ver. Scheepsbouw Bureaux (NEVESBU)made several designs of a multiple-cylinder submarine. They designed an operational attack boat and a cargo/minelayer boat. It is likely that these designs were made in the U.K. on request of the allies. The cargo version was probably intended to supply Malta.

The Dutch post-war 3-cylinder Dolfijn/Potvis-class design clearly stems from these designs.
