The Finnish Vetehinen class.

Probably a Vetehinen class type under construction.

Installation of an electric motor in a Finnish Vetehinen class.

The Finnish CV 703, CV 704 and CV 702 (all Vetehinen class) side by side in a construction hall in Turku. The hall was specially built for construction of submarines.

The Finnish Saukko class.

The small 99 ton submarine Saukko was built in Hietalahti yard in Helsinki (Finland). The boat was constructed from parts that could be disassembled and transported by land. Saukko was originally detached to Laatokka, where it was never used.

 

The Finnish Vesikko class.
