Catapult torpedo tube testing		 Jolly Roger

 

These photos are from a "catapult torpedo tube" test on the deck of Dolfijn (3) at the R.D.M. shipyard in Rotterdam, January 1963. These are probably tests for the to-be-build Zwaardvis (2) class submarines. The Dolfijn (3) is alongside the former cruiser Tromp, now accomodation vessel A 878.

Below an other series of a "catapult torpedo tube" test setup, at the R.D.M. shipyard, and the firing of a MK VIII torpedo on 31 March 1969. These are probably tests for theZwaardvis (2) class submarines which where under construction at that time.
