? - 1940, 14 May   As majoor torpedomaker placed at the construction (last phase) of the O 27.
1940, 14 May       On 14 May 1940 he is killed  by a mortar during the German attack on Rotterdam (Netherlands).
Some sources report that this happened on May 12th. But the date on his gravestone is May 14th.
He is buried on the Algemene Begraafplaats Crooswijk, section G.G. row 1, number 44
