Thanks for your interest in how-to-help the Dutch Submarines website. There are several things you can do to help us.

 

1. Report mistakes and omissions on the site.

This is very important and we luckily already received many email reporting things that where either incorrect, outdated, missing, somehow badly-worded  or difficult-to-understand.

But this is of course a task that will go on for ever. So if you see something you feel is strange don't hesitate to let us know.

 

2. You can contribute new material to the site.

This is another thing you could assist us on. This site already has several fine people on its "crew". However the area we are attempting to cover is rather vast and we surely could use your help. You could provide us with your memories, news, photos, stories, technical article, naval career etc All contributions,  in the English as well as in the Dutch language, are very welcome.

So if you find something that you could help us on to lacking from the site (or poorly done) then we'd love to hear from you.

 

3. You can contribute your graphics/graphics experience to this site.

If you can contribute to the graphics on this site that is always most welcome! Maps, charts, animations, cur-away-views, layouts etc are always needed. We also welcome all help we can get to improve the look and feel of this site.

So if you think the graphics of this site should be improved and you can help us on that, then we'd love to hear from you.

 

4. Become a co-webmaster of this site.

Become an official editor of the site: Improve, correct, expand, create etc pages of this site that have your special interest. Also translators (Dutch -English) are welcome to join the crew.

Bedankt voor je interesse in how-to-help de Dutch Submarines website. Er zijn verschillende zaken die je kan doen om ons te helpen.

 

1. Meld fouten en missende zaken.

Dit is zeer belangrijk en gelukkig hebben we al vele emailtjes ontvangen met melding over zaken die fout waren , verouderd waren, gemist werden, slecht verwoord waren of moeilijk te begrijpen waren. Maar dit is natuurlijk een eeuwig durende zaak. Dus als je iets op deze site tegenkomt dat niet in orde lijkt twijfel dan niet en laat het ons weten.

 

2. Draag nieuw materiaal aan.

Dit is een ander punt waarop we alle hulp kunnen gebruiken. Deze site heeft reeds een aantal goede mensen in zijn 'bemanning' maar het onderwerp is nogal breed en dus kunnen we jouw hulp ook gebruiken. Stel materiaal ter beschikking, zoals: Memoires, nieuwtjes, foto's, technish artikel, verhalen, beschrijving van je marine carrière etc. Alle bijdragen, zowel in de Engelse als de Nederlandse taal, zijn van harte welkom. Is er dus iets wat je mist op deze site, of wat beter gedaan kan worden, en waarmee je ons kan helpen dan horen we graag van je.

 

3. Stel je grafische creaties/expertisie ter beschikking.

Je kan een bijdrage aan de grafische zaken op deze site leveren. Kaarten, overzichten, animaties, doorsneden etc zijn altijd van harte welkom. We kunnen ook hulp gebruiken om de algehele layout/look-en-feel van de site te verbeteren.

Mocht je dus vinden dat de grafische zaken op deze site beter kunnen en kan je ons daarbij helpen dan horen we graag van je.

 

4. Wordt mede webmaster van deze site.

Wordt een officiële mede-webmaster van deze site: Verbeter, maak, of breid pagina's uit die jouw interesse hebben. Ook vertalers (Nederlands - Engels) zijn van harte welkom.
