Notes

- The T class was build for the British Royal Navy during World War II. Four boats were transferred to the Royal Dutch Navy: two boats during the war and two boats following the war (on loan for a period of 5 years). The boat Zwaardvis (1) was never streamlined due to her partially riveted hull. Dolfijn (2) and Zeehond (2) were streamlined after their transfer to the RN.
- In Jan 2006 Bill Castle, Ex-Po Radio Electrician, writes: "........probably ..1950/1951....At the time Zwaardvis (1) was the cleanest boat I had ever worked on..Inboard,was painted light gray, with a tiled deck of grey and white tiles. Every bit of "Bright work", has been chromeium plated, rather than the brass of English boats...."
